We support safe storage legislation. We support measures that reduce gun violence.
On universal background checks and red flag laws: we support the intent. We also hold real concerns about how these mechanisms get applied to the communities we serve — LGBTQ+ people, BIPOC gun owners, people whose mental health history could be used against them by institutions that haven't always acted in good faith. Those concerns don't disappear because the goal is right.
We're not going to hand you a clean position on this. The people this brand is for deserve an honest one instead.
